Decay

Withered and dried flower drawings represent the decline of life. I create compositions by enlarging and modelling shapes. Powerful and invigorating, the red contrasts the theme of the series. In flat shapes and volume, achieved by the drawing of light and shadow, it creates tension that gives strength to the final work.
